How to use neem oil on plants
looking at the plants last night i noticed that a couple had a very minor spider mite infestation. wasting no time i immediately grabbed the neem oil and made a solution(about 10% neem oil to a bottle of warm water) and gave them all a good spraying. when you have mites on one plant in your garden, treat every single plants(regardless of whether any mites are on them or not) like they are infested. this will prevent the mites from spreading.
Controlling whiteflies on outdoor plants can be done by spraying down the plant with neem oil, a pesticide, soapy water or oil sprays, but sticky traps can also be set to get rid of whiteflies. Eliminate whiteflies from the garden with plant advice from an urban horticulturist in this free video on gardening.
Neem (Azadirachta indica) has worldwide medicinal and agricultural applications as a non-toxic alternative to synthetic chemicals for both curing and preventing disease.
